People all over the world wait with baited breath to see what the most popular colors are going to be for a season. Every season fashion designers choose different colors to represent what is hot and what is not for that particular year. One year it might be oranges and blues, while another year the popular colors might be purples and yellows.

Recently, many fashion designers have unveiled their Fall 2011 designs and with them comes the chance to see what colors are hot for the season. Here’s a look at what colors are in for Fall 2011.

The Bright Colors

Every season has a handful of bright colors that fashion designers tend to favor when they are designing their fashion lines. For Fall 2011 the bright colors include a yellow known as bamboo, a coral orange known as emberglow, a pink honeysuckle, and a purple called phlox. These colors along with a deep teal are popular finds in the Fall 2011 fashion lines.

The Neutral Colors

To offset the bright colors for the season, fashion designers will use neutral colors to create a stunning effect. Neutral colors are often light colors such as whites, greys and beiges that help bring down the brighter oranges, reds, yellows and other colors in the fashion lines. For the Fall 2011 colors, white is not used but an off-white almost grey known as orchid hush is used in many items of clothing.

Both bright and neutral colors are used by fashion designers to create a stunning line of clothing for the Fall 2011 fashion lines.

Colors that Won’t Go out of Style

Do you find yourself attracted to similar colors every year when you start shopping for fresh new styles? There are just some classic colors that no matter what, will always be fresh, new, and will never go out of style. While some colors are specifically traditional to a season, some colors you can wear all year and enjoy doing so.

White and black are always attractive colors. Ever shop in White House Black Market? Their clothing features simple wears in these colors. You can find almost anything white, black, or mixed since this is their specialty.  Black and white are just fresh colors that look really good together. You’ve heard people make claims that you can’t wear white after Labor Day, or if you wear all white you will look washed out or bigger than you really are, and the opposite for black, that it is slimming (which is true). These colors can be a bit excessive if worn from head to toe as a single color, but are fashionable together with either plain colored items, or patterns.

Blue and red are another set of colors that always look well together. Blue jeans go with almost everything, and can be accented with many colors. When you wear red with blue, you might feel a little patriotic, but these colors complement each other well in solids or patterns.

Yellow and green are another set of colors that go well together and will have trouble going out of style. In reference to these colors, I’m talking about the traditional colors, not hues of green or yellow.

Everyone seems to have their own color combinations that they enjoy wearing. If you want to try something new and these are not the color combinations you often wear, check them out. You might find something great that you would have walked away from in the past. Let colors speak for themselves, especially colors that will never go out of style.
